Viktoras Kulvinskas is considered the grandfather of the living food movement and is co-founder of the original Hippocrates Health Institute with Ann Wigmore.

Hippocrates was my first real introduction into the world of living foods. Whilst being plant based for around 8 months up until I discovered them, they really took my health and nutrition a step further.

They helped me clearly understand the power of living foods and the damage done when we decide to cook our foods and destroy the living aspect of it.

I read this book because it shares unique ways to help improve ones energy but then also ingredients that can be used for our bar and the powers of different vegetables.

It is a long read but packs so much great useful information.

What I love about this book and what I am a firm believer in is: there is no single thing that leads to success. Success derives from doing all the small things correctly.

For example, if you don’t get quality sleep, you will not be thinking as sharply as your competitors. If you don’t exercise and get your body moving and functioning at a higher level, you will be slower physically and also that will impact you mentally. All these things carry over to one another.

It is a holistic approach that allows you to function at your very best, from the moment you wake up till the moment you go to bed.

So whilst this book is not a ‘business book’, for me and my business and my approach to being at my best.

It is learning from these wise people that I understand the power of taking a holistic approach to strengthen my health and well being and this has made me the person you see today.

So Viktoras, first and foremost, thank you.

Thank you for teaching a holistic approach to becoming the best version of ourselves and the importance of love, gratitude, food and mindfulness and so much more to allow us to constantly be at our very best.

This in depth book gave me great insight into the world of true health and happiness.
